Naphessa Collier’s Spectacular Season can Lead to her First MVP

Long gone are the days where Maya Moore, Sylvia Fowles, Seimone Augustus, Lindsay Whalen and Rebekkah Brunson. Winning their last championship in 2017, Minnesota has been fighting to get back to their once glorious days. Cheryl Reeve was been the coach for those championships years and she is still at the helm. She is also the President of Basketball Operations for the team. Now building the Lynx around her star, Naphessa Collier.
Collier is currently averaging 20.9 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists. She been a defensive threat, averaging 2.5 steals and 1.4 blocks. Her two-way play is helping her team stand at the best record in the Western Conference, which is also good for third overall in the league. Tonight, the Lynx will take on the New York Liberty, who is the best team in the league for the Commissioner’s Cup Championship.
